Gypsum powder calcination equipment is mainly divided into the following categories based on process requirements and scale differences:
Gypsum fluidized bed calcination machine (boiling furnace)
Adopting fluidized bed technology, uniform heating of gypsum powder is achieved through a bottom gas distribution plate, with steam or heat transfer oil heating pipes integrated internally, and equipped with electrostatic and bag dust removal systems. The output of a single device can reach 60 tons per hour, suitable for large-scale continuous production.

Rotary kiln equipment
Including direct heating rotary kiln and indirect heating rotary kiln, commonly used for calcination treatment of desulfurization gypsum, phosphogypsum and other materials. Some models support double-layer or three-layer drying structure, suitable for integrated drying and calcination treatment of gypsum raw materials with high moisture content.
Drum type drying and calcination equipment
Adopting a continuous operation mode, gypsum powder is directly or indirectly heated by high-temperature gas inside the drum, which has both drying and calcination functions. It is commonly used in small and medium-sized production lines.
Electric heating calcination furnace
Suitable for scenarios with strict temperature control requirements, precise temperature control is achieved through electric heating elements, but energy consumption is high and it is often used for special process requirements.
Other auxiliary equipment
Including pre-treatment equipment such as crushers (such as jaw crushers, cone crushers), mills (such as Raymond mills, vertical mills), as well as supporting devices such as powder concentrators and clinker silos, a complete production line is formed.
The selection of different equipment needs to comprehensively consider the characteristics of raw materials, production capacity requirements, and environmental standards. For example, fluidized bed calcination machines are suitable for large-scale production, while drum type equipment is more suitable for high humidity raw material processing.
